Dawson Creek to Tetsa Rvr

Went through a heavy snowstorm just past Fort St. John that lasted for hours, it seemed, but eventually it turned to rain and once we got to Fort Nelson, the sun started coming out and it dried up.

We spent our first night at Tetsa River Regional Park in the Northern Rockies. Beautiful spot above the river. We were hoping to see some Auroras but it clouded over just as it was getting dark. Had a campfire and some drinks before hitting the hay.

I wonder where today will take us.
Amazing how big BC is. We have driven 1300km so far and we are still in this province. Getting closer, though! ;)

Driving along Tetsa River, The Fall colours have exploded into a sea of yellows and oranges and now we are just getting past Stone Mtn and Summit Lake. The Mountains are incredible and we can see fresh snow on top of them all. Such a beautiful drive.
