Twin Lakes

We made it as far as Twin Lakes tonight. Just when we were about to leave Whitehorse (after the Alternator and Battery Change) we noticed a soft tire on the trailer. Went back to the Tire Shop and we had a nail stuck in one of them. Geez, will we ever get out of here? The Tire shop had already started to close down but they were so awesome and helped us out. I swear, the friendliest people live in the Yukon or at least in Whitehorse.

Anyway, making dinner now and pouring a drink. I think we have earned one. Or two! 

Highlights of the day: 

- We saw an elk

- had to fix the truck

- great folks in Whitehorse

- the scenery again... breathtaking
