Tetsa River to Liard River Hotsprings

on the way here, just past the Petersen Canyon in the Northern Rockies ( yes, I guess they've named a Canyon after us... hahaha)
we saw a moose and a calf on the side of the road. Just grazing away and couldn't care less that we were there. There was a bicyclist on the other side of the road taking pics of both of them, so we stopped before and took a few pics of the mom. The calf was hidden in the bush and I didn't think it would be a good idea to get out of the truck. Didn't want to disturb them. And I think the bicyclist was thrilled that we didn't.

Another highlight was Muncho Lake. What scenery right on the side of the highway.
Northern BC is absolutely stunning. If you ever have the chance to visit, please do!

Highlights of todays trip:

Petersen Canyon
Muncho Lake
Moose and a calf

Staying the night at Liard River Hotsprings.
Haven't had a cell signal all day and couldn't wish my mom a happy birthday. So, mom, if you read this: Alles Gute zum Geburtstag!!!
